The aliens have landed

We've always been curious about the strange pancake/space ship-like structures that we would see every time we'd pass by the MRT Quezon Avenue station along Edsa.  These structures are right behind Centris station mall.

Thankfully, we finally had the chance to visit Centris Walk last weekend. Yay! :)  Too bad we missed the Sidcor Weekend Market since we arrived past 3pm.  The market is held there every Sunday from 6am to 2pm.

They are still doing construction in some areas but there are already a lot of restaurants to choose from.  There's Zong (Chinese), Pancake house, Pho Hoa (Vietnamese), Italianni's, My Thai Kitchen, Asya (Filipino-Asian fusion) and Claw Daddy.  For dessert there is Coffee bean & Tea leaf, Tutti Frutti Yogurt and Jack's Loft.  If you're looking for fast food, there are many options in Centris Mall.  Aside from the restaurants there is a play ground, carousel and a train for the kids.

The place becomes even more interesting when they turn on the lights at night!

It's nice to watch the "disks" as the lights change color :)

We'll be back soon!  Thank you to Erman for lending me his camera :)

  2. This is a weird sight when you view it from the MRT haha. The first time I saw it, I was "Uh, ano yan?" It seems like a pretty interesting place to view from the ground mismo hehe. I should explore it one of these days.
