Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar

We drove all the way to Bagac, Bataan last weekend to marvel at the authentic 19th century stone houses at Las Casas Filipinas de Azucar.  I love old houses and it was really amazing to see so many of them in one area.
View of Casa Unisan(1893), some interesting bronze sculptures and the cobblestone road from the balcony of our room.
It was cloudy and gloomy during our visit but I think it added more charm to the place :)  The weather  was nice and cool which was perfect for long leisurely walks around the area.
The hotel rooms are located in Paseo de Escolta (the building behind the sculpture).  There are only 17 rooms in this building but they plan to add more rooms in Casa Vyzantina which is still under construction.
Casa Vyzantina (1890) used to be located in Binondo, Manila until it was transferred to Bataan in 2009.
A few calesas (horse-drawn carriage) parked inside the garage
Lovely view of the lake and Mt. Samat (hidden by the clouds)
After exploring the village, it would be nice to take a dip in the swimming pool at the back.  No swimming for us though because it was too cold that day.
