Good Food Co.

We just signed up to be a part of a Community-supported agriculture (CSA) group.  What exactly is CSA?  According to Wikipedia, Community supported agriculture (CSA), a form of an alternative food network, is a socio-economic model of agriculture and food distribution.  A CSA consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farming operation where the growers and consumers share the risks and benefits of food production. CSAs usually consist of a system of weekly delivery or pick-up of vegetables and fruit.
I've seen a few CSAs online and luckily, Good Food Co. has a pick up point near our place.  Yay! Every Saturday we will pick up 3.5kg of fresh, local and organic goodies!  This week's harvest consisted of saba, cassava, squash, eggplant, kamote talbos, native pechay, sili pansigang,  mustasa,  tomato, malunggay and kamote.  Hope we can go on their farm tours someday :)
