Things that make me happy

Finding random notes.
magazine
Saw this sticky note attached to the magazine I was reading while waiting at the dentist.  It was a travel article featuring Naples, Italy.  In the next article the author mentioned that they found a boring mill in the city.  But seriously, I don't think anything will be boring when you are exploring!  :D
magazine at the dentist
I feel the same! :)
pillows
Hotels that give you an option to choose what kind of pillow you want.
cabbage rose
Beautiful and unusual flowers.  This is a cabbage rose!
time for a break
Seeing a kalesa (horse drawn carriage).  The driver is on a reading break :)
public art
Art installations in public spaces for everyone to enjoy
Kumo
Looking at Kumo... Although I did feel a bit sad because lately he seems so adult already!  I miss the days when he was still a tiny kitten.

I saw Invader in Bangkok!

I read about Invader and his "invasion" a couple of years back. I thought it was really cool that there was someone scattering Space Invaders/Mario/Pacman themed tiles all over Paris! Here is a quick entry about Invader from Wikipedia:

"Invader (born 1969) is a French street artist who pastes up characters from and inspired by the Space Invaders game, made up of small coloured square tiles that form a mosaic. He does this in cities across the world, then documents this as an "Invasion", with maps of where to find each invader.
He started this project in 1998 with the invasion of Paris - the city where he lives and the most invaded city to date - and then spread the invasion to 35 other cities in the world."
from wikipedia
I was really happy when I spotted this little guy in Bangkok! Although it sort of sucks that I was only able to see 1 out of the 51 artworks that he left there :( I do hope that I'll be seeing more (in Paris, perhaps? *fingers crossed*) Check out his map here to see the progress of the invasion around the world :)
