Goodbye, Meow

Remember the 39 pound kitty in the news last month?

A lot of people were rooting for his survival.  The folks at the shelter where he was surrendered were really hoping to help him get back in shape.  Unfortunately, I just read that dear Meow has passed away due to obesity complications :(

Rest in Peace, Meow :(

Circles

I found this book I made several years ago while clearing my cabinet.

I'm not really sure why I made it.  I guess it's one of those random meow things :)

It's really tiny - measuring at 1 x 1.5 inches.  Can you guess what I put inside?

Circles!  Yes, that is why the book's title is "Circles" :D  I remember that this was the time when I was very happy with my newly acquired circle puncher.

A circle with circles inside!  It's 13 pages of assorted circles.  Yes I know the whole thing is a bit silly :D  But finding this book made my day!  I am now recalling all the funny things I used to make. 

Maybe I should make another one but this time with squares! :D  Happy Sunday, folks!

Holy Week Challenge

Hello!  Welcome to my bodega room :D  Isn't it cozy? Hehe!

And since I'm just staying home this Friday I figured that it's about time that I tidy up!

Kumo loves hiding in these boxes...

but all these things will be neatly packed by Easter.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I keep my focus.  Wheee! Wish me luck.

New kitty in the house

It's a tiny white fur ball!  We still haven't named him :)  Hopefully, white kitty and Nugget will get along well.

Don't worry Nuggie pie!  You'll always be my big baby :)

Big orange ball

There is a big orange ball in my living room right now and his name is Nugget.

This is the view from the back :) look at that tummy bump. another view. he looks like a cat now with the ear and legs more visible :)top view. i can watch him for hours!one of these days i'll take a video. he moves, meows softly and wiggles while he is sleeping!i love you orange cat!

hello meow!

I hardly see any stray cats here in Singapore unlike back home. It's either that they have a really good animal control program or something sinister (that i do not want to think of) is happening. I'd like to think that it is the first reason :)

That's why I was really happy to see not one but two meows at the hawker center in Chinatown last week! I wanted to move closer but they looked shy so I just ended up taking a few pics. Btw, I was next in line to a man who was buying 20 cans of Whiskas cat food at the grocery this morning! Hmm... I wonder how many cats he has back home :)
