The past few weeks have been tough on baby white. He has a lot of wounds on his body due to a fungal infection so the cone is back to keep him from scratching and licking off the medicine. It also helps him stay away from the plants and the maxforce roach bait that we have lying around.
What a sad face!
Aside from the fungal cream, we have to bathe him twice a week using medicated soap and shampoo. He can get really wild and violent during bath time so we made him special cat mittens. My brother cut up an old rubber glove and used the finger part to cover Kumo's paws.
Just a few more weeks, Kumo! You can do it!
OMG! We have the same white cat, mine has blue eyes though. When he was about one, he got some nasty fungal infection and fleas as well so we had to take him to the vet for some shots. Pinagtiyagaan din naming paliguan - it was hell every time. We had to put the poor cat on a leash . We give him a bath every two weeks at no change, talagang takot sa tubig.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Kumo!
Poor Kumo. :( The second pic just breaks my heart. I hope he gets well soon.
ReplyDeleteGood idea on the rubber gloves/finger. Bath time with my girls always end up in a fighting match between me and them, I'll try this next time.
he'll soon be fine.. will be praying for him.cats are born to be fighters. :) he'll surpassed this one .. then be cheerful and a happy cat again..
ReplyDelete(i'm owned by 2 cats)

Oh... I know it feels like forever with the cone and the pink finger thingees.... Hang in there. I'm sending you sympathetic purrs.

Lots of love from another lovin' cat momma, Kumo! *HUGS*
ReplyDeleteOh, poor, poor baby! How did he get the fungal infection (he's a strictly indoor cat, right?). The second photo is really sad :(
ReplyDelete@Pawsome - the vet said it was caused by contact with damp and dirty places. we noticed that Kumo loves sleeping beside the wet mop and walis near our kitchen. He also likes sleeping beside the trashcan and other dirty areas :(
ReplyDeleteOMG his mittens!!!
ReplyDeleteHope baby white is better now.
